About this course

A four-course series equipping HHS acquisition professionals with practical skills for integrating AI tools across the acquisition lifecycle. Each course focuses on a distinct phase — from planning and market research through contract file documentation — with an emphasis on responsible use, procurement integrity, and verification of AI-generated outputs.

What you will learn

  • Understand where AI fits across the acquisition lifecycle and how federal and HHS AI policy applies.
  • Safeguard source selection information, proprietary data, and CUI when using AI tools.
  • Use AI to support market research, requirements development, and acquisition planning.
  • Draft solicitation sections, research applicable clauses, and support evaluation documentation responsibly.
  • Verify facts, citations, and regulatory references before AI-assisted content enters the contract file.
